ICS-300, Intermediate Incident Command System for Expanding Incidents

If you are an officer, Captain or above, and you are assigned to the "C" Platoon, check the box on the registration page and call the LAFD Homeland Security Division at (213) 485-3656 so that we can request an on-duty detail for you.

This class is free of charge and open to the public.

Please note that this is a two-day class, spread out over three days.  There is no class on the second day.

This class meets all Federal and State requirements for NIMS training compliance for anyone who may be called to serve at an incident or event in any of the following roles:

• Command or General Staff
• Strike Team, Task Force or Unit Leader
• Division or Group Supervisor
• Branch Director
• Department Operations Center Staff
• Emergency Operations Center Staff
• FEMA Task Force Manager

The class includes a module of instruction in the California Statewide Emergency Management System (SEMS).

This class is approved for POST continuing education for Law Enforcement personnel.
